Supporting Our Community

Hospice Mid Canterbury are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Mid Canterbury families, ensuring that those they support are being given the opportunity to ‘live every moment’ with the offer of a wide range of non-clinical  therapies and support from their new base located at 70 Havelock St, Ashburton.  Hospice Mid Canterbury receive no government  funding, and as they offer their services free of charge they are reliant on volunteers time, fundraising and donations, with every bit of community support helping to make a huge difference.

When we were approached to support Hospice Mid Canterbury we knew it was a great origination to get along side. Both Hospice Mid Canterbury and McLeod Real Estate cater for the needs of our people within our district.

How Can We Help?

Become a Volunteer
Volunteers are an essential part of Hospice Mid
Canterbury.  Opportunities to volunteer include helping in the Hospice Shop, client and family support, office support and helping with transport.

The Hospice Shop
Hospice Mid Canterbury are extremely grateful for donated household goods they can sell in their shop
located on Tancred Street. If you have items you no longer need, their volunteers will happily call and
collect them.
